The Fetești bridge toll is no longer charged

From 1 October 2026, crossing the Fetești–Cernavodă and Giurgeni–Vadu Oii bridges no longer has a separate toll.

• Ordinance no. 15/2002, which set the bridge toll, was repealed by Law no. 226/2023 (art. 24).
• On Romanian national roads you still need a vignette (rovinieta) — its rate now also depends on the vehicle's emission class.
• Goods vehicles over 3.5 t pay the TollRo charge, calculated on the distance driven.
• Bridge tickets bought and not used are no longer valid; CNAIR refunds them on written request.
